Data Books

Equipment data books are frequently consulted during maintenance, and thus must be easily located by maintenance and operations staff. Data books are often shared between areas or units that have common equipment, and thus there is a need for access from multiple places in the asset structure.  A Data Books project delivers a configuration suitable for data book access and management, as well as a load of your existing data books, in a packaged SharePoint configuration that can be deployed to your on-premise SharePoint farm.

      • Data book library configuration—views, settings, LVT, versioning, content types
      • Folders for update control
      • Groups, permissions levels
      • Data book properties and property validation, where appropriate
      • Links to shared data books
      • File update, batch download
